As we are sure most of you know, we have decided to make shirts for International Culture Day, this Friday, May 17th. We wanted to share with you those who chose to bring in a shirt to decorate. We did allow your children to choose an African Symbol that they wanted to paint on the front of their shirts. Our artist, Ms. Finocchiaro, drew the symbol of their choice and then they were able to paint the symbol during recess time. We were really impressed with how the shirts turned out. We will keep the shirts here at school until Friday, we will send them home after our International Culture Day is over. We will begin Friday with an International Day Parade and then will be traveling around the Continent of Africa.
**The Deadline to turn in shirts was Friday, May 10th. We are unable to paint any shirts this week**
